A new era for New Jersey’s workforce begins as the Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey Apprenticeship Education & Training Fund opens their 106,000-square-foot state-of-the-art apprenticeship training facility in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
Representing one of the largest and most comprehensive projects of its kind, this facility is designed to serve as the premier engine for economic growth and technical mastery. This landmark facility is the first in New Jersey to offer a centralized, hands-on learning environment for 26 US-DOL-approved trades, open to all aspiring craft professionals in the Garden State, regardless of background or affiliation.
“This new, state-of-the-art training facility represents far more than bricks and mortar. It’s an investment in New Jersey’s workforce and the future of our construction industry,” said Samantha Roman, President of Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey. “Every classroom, lab, and hands-on training space has been thoughtfully designed to prepare the next generation of skilled craft professionals for high-demand, high-paying careers – regardless of labor affiliation.
"Through the new facility, ABC-NJ will be conducting extensive outreach opportunities to all communities, hosting summer camps, and facilitating class trips for students of all ages to learn about careers in the trades."
